The boys had check ups and flu shots. When they came home, they gave the rest of us checkups and flu shots!

Election Day

We took the kids to vote in this historic election! Eric took Josh in and I took Jacob so they could each know what it is like to have this great right.

We are proud to say that Jake and Josh were so excited about this election that they asked to stay up until we knew who won! They got in their pajamas, brushed their teeth and watched the votes roll in. They didn't quite make it to that great moment but they were thrilled when they found out! Yeah Barack Obama!!!

Sydney and Mia came trick or treating with us. Everyone had a lot of fun! After a few houses, we couldn't keep up with the big kids and Noah had the whole routine down pat!

SURPRISE! It has been a LONG time since we posted. Oops! Instead of trying to organize all my pictures chronologically, I thought it would be more fun to keep things current from here and throw in a surprise or two every so often - completely out of order!!

Quick Year Update (I am sure there will be gaps to fill in as I remember them but I am going to post this anyway):

Jacob won 3rd Place (out of 100 entries in the area) in the PBS Reading Rainbow Young Authors & Illustrators Contest! He was sent a cetificate, a movie and a backpack. Great job Jacob!

Daddy Graduated! Yeah!!! We are so proud of him!

Jacob turned 7!!!!

The boys played on the soccer team. Jacob was voted MIP and given the team ball! They both got trophies and cool sweatshirts with their names on the sleeve, too!!
